KWHA Landlord Information
Thank you for your interest in the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. This area/page includes information related to the program for prospective landlords, as well as documents to be utilized by current landlords.
The HCV Program (sometimes referred to as “Section 8”) provides rental assistance to low income families in the private rental market. Funded at the Federal level through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), rent subsidies (vouchers) allow families to pay a reasonable share of their income toward rent while the HCV program, within specific limits, makes up the difference.
